The choirs of St Michael’s will be on holiday for the month of August. The Senior Choir sings the services at Tewkesbury Abbey over Bank Holiday week end (23rd & 24th August).

Around The World In Music & Song
International Mezzo Soprano Patricia Jenkins will be giving a recital at St. Michael's Church on Thursday 4th September, at 2pm. Accompanied by Val Corcoran, "Around The World In Music & Song - Classical to Cabaret" will feature a variety of material. Refreshments will be provided following the recital, and there will be a collection in aid of St Michael’s Organ Fund. Tea Dance
If you have not yet had a chance to enjoy one of the parish's popular Tea Dances, why not come along to one of the following dates; Friday 25th July, Friday 29th August and Friday 26th September from 2-4pm in the Parish Hall at St Michael's Church, Bassett Avenue. A warm welcome and an enjoyable afternoon awaits you!

The Rector is grateful to the Revd Andrew Huckett (Missions to
Seafarers, Southampton) and the Revd Canon Nigel Harley who now assist each month with the conduct of the 8am Holy Communion service on Sunday mornings at St Michael’s.

OPTIK Concert
St Michael’s Church was full for a Chamber Concert arranged by supporters of our parish charity project, OPTIK. Over £700 was raised for OPTIK funds. Staff at Kilimanjaro Christian Medical Centre have thanked the parish for Easter greetings, which Dr Jenny Hughes conveyed to them.
